Blocking Incidents
  • SR 410 Chinook Pass: Due to spring snow storms and a construction project in the Mount Rainier National Park, Chinook Pass will not reopen to traffic until June 11. Chinook Pass is closed between Crystal Mountain Boulevard, about 12 miles northwest of the summit, and Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit.
  • SR 123 Cayuse Pass (elev. 4,675 feet) is closed for the season within the boundaries of Mount Rainier National Park between Crystal Mountain Boulevard and the Stevens Canyon Road entrance.
  • SR 410 eastbound milepost 103, 13 miles west of the Jct. of US-12: A collision is blocking the eastbound lane. Expect alternating one lane traffic.
  • US 97 southbound milepost 65 Branch Road one mile west of Toppenish: There is a right lane closure for pending railroad crossing repair work for damaged concert panels. Use caution when crossing the tracks.
Construction Closures
  • I-82 milepost 132 Columbia River Bridge near Plymouth: Eastbound traffic is shifted to the westbound Columbia River bridge into Oregon. The speed limit is reduced to 40 mph. Westbound traffic is reduced to a single lane.
  • I-182 milepost 3 Queensgate Drive: Construction Activity will be taking place Monday May 21 through Friday May 25 during daylight hours. No impact to traffic are anticipated.
